Boyd Duckett: 6-pound, 12-ounce Announcement

I have an announcement. I am a proud father again.

My son, Eli, 6 pounds, 12 ounces, was born late last week and I couldn’t be happier. He’s a good-looking boy. Both mother and child are doing well.

His mother, Jennifer, and I now have six terrific children.

It’s going to be tough to get my mind back on fishing, which I’ll have to do in a hurry. There is an Elite Series event next week at Oneida, and as you’ve probably read on this web site, we’ve got two Major League Fishing events coming up before too long.

But right now, at least, I get to spend a few more days with Jennifer and Eli before heading to Oneida.

My only hope is this: That he learns to sleep at night, instead of during the day. Wish me luck, please.
