Welcome to the rules for the official social media accounts of Major League Fishing! These pages are a place for MLF fans to get news and updates, discuss their favorite anglers, the events and all things fishing. These “Rules” govern all social media accounts operated by Major League Fishing and each of their respective officers, directors, agents, employees, representatives and licensees.
By posting or re-posting (“Posting“) comments, photos, visuals, videos, or other materials (“Your Content” or “User Content“) to social media web sites and applications owned/operated by Major League Fishing, including, but not limited to, www.majorleaguefishing.com, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, or similar sites (“Official MLF Page(s)“), you agree that Major League Fishing can use your content–including any names, voices, images and performances that content contains–for any purpose. Further, by Posting Your Content on a MLF Page, you grant the MLF a perpetual, non-exclusive, irrevocable, fully-paid, royalty-free, sublicenseable and transferable worldwide license in any and all media (now known or hereafter devised) to use, reproduce, distribute, display, perform, modify and create derivative works based upon Your Content for any purpose, including advertising and promotion, without notice, attribution or payment. You also waive any moral rights associated with Your Content. You certify that you are the original author, creator, or owner of Your Content, and that you have the right to post it. You also certify that you have acquired and hereby grant to Major League Fishing all necessary rights for the MLF to depicted anyone who appears in Your Content, and that the MLF’s use of Your Content in accordance with this license will not violate or infringe upon anyone else’s rights.
User Content does not necessarily reflect the opinions or ideals of the MFL Entities or the entities and/or individuals that operate the MLF Pages, and Major League Fishing does not endorse any opinions expressed by fans on the MLF Pages. Major League Fishing does not represent or warrant the accuracy of any statement or product claims made on Major League Fishing Pages and is not responsible for any User Content on the MLF Pages.
We may revise these Rules from time to time. The Rules are governed by the laws of the State of Oklahoma without regard to or application of its conflict of law provisions or your state or country of residence.
