Evers Fourth at Bull Shoals Elite

BULL SHOALS, Ark. — Three Major League Fishing anglers place in the top 10 during the B.A.S.S. Elite Series tournament this past weekend at Bull Shoals Lake in northern Arkansas.
Edwin Evers placed fourth with a four-day total of 66 pounds even. Bobby Lane (62-10) finished seventh and Jason Quinn (60-5) tenth. The Bull Shoals event was the third Elite Series regular-season tournament.
Evers also raised his rank in the B.A.S.S. Toyota Tundra Angler of the Year standings to fourth place. Skeet Reese is in sixth place, Kevin VanDam seventh and Tommy Biffle eighth. Todd Faircloth, who fished in a substitute role at Major League Fishing’s Challenge Cup on Lake Amistad, is in ninth.
Other Major League Fishing anglers in the AOY top 20 are: Bobby Lane (13th), Alton Jones (19th) and Michael Iaconelli (20th).
