It was anyone’s game in more ways than one until the very end as Mark Davis and Jake Lawrence were less than a pound apart for the No. 1 spot on SCORETRACKER® and every angler below the Lucas Oil Cut Line remained one solid catch away from jumping into the Top 10 and qualifying for the Championship Round.

Ultimately, Lawrence topped Davis with 40 pounds, 8 ounces on seven scorable bass to Davis’ 38-13 on 12 scorable bass. In addition to topping the field, Lawrence also scored the $30,000 Berkley Big Bass of the day with a 9-8. Meanwhile, Bobby Lane scored the 10th and final seat in tomorrow’s Championship Round with 14-12 on five scorable bass with Todd Faircloth less than a pound behind with 14-3 on five scorable bass.

Heavy Hitters action concludes tomorrow with the Top 10 anglers returning to Orange Lake for the Championship Round on the MLFNOW! livestream from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. ET at MajorLeagueFishing.com, the MLF and MyOutdoorTV (MOTV) apps and the Major League Fishing channel on Rumble.
